Enrollment

Enroll at NYEHA

No formal tryouts. No pressure. Just a conversation about whether NYEHA is the right fit for your athlete and your family.

How Enrollment Works

  1. Reach Out to Ryan

Contact Ryan Waltman at ryan.waltman@gmes.com. Many athletes come through direct outreach from our staff, but families are always welcome to initiate the conversation. No formal tryout required.

  2. Family Conversation

We schedule a call or visit to walk through the program, schedule, academic options, and fit. We want to make sure NYEHA is right for your athlete and your family — not just a good hockey fit.

  3. Choose Your Academic Pathway

Select in-person at Saratoga Central Catholic (contact Heather Bott at SCC to enroll) or online through Edmentum. Ryan guides you through whichever process you choose.

  4. Welcome to the Program

Gear up, show up, and get to work. We handle transportation, scheduling, and your athlete’s individualized development plan from day one.

Who We’re Looking For

Open to student-athletes at any level within this range. Homeschooled younger players welcome to inquire.

  • Character First

Coachable, hard-working athletes who are genuinely good people — on and off the ice.

  • Serious Hockey Goals

Athletes pursuing meaningful long-term development, typically at the AAA or high-level club level.

  • Family Alignment

NYEHA works best when families are aligned with our philosophy. We’re looking for partners, not just participants.
