Develop the Whole Athlete
NY Elite Hockey Academy is a full-time development program combining elite on-ice training with rigorous academics. Human first. Hockey second.
What We Stand For
Three Pillars of Development
Every decision at NYEHA is guided by a simple framework — human first, athlete second, hockey player third.
Academics
Academic Excellence
Two pathways: in-person at Saratoga Central Catholic School, or flexible online through Edmentum ($3,175/year). Either way, academics are held to the same standard as hockey development.
On Ice
Elite On-Ice Training
One focused 75-minute session per day, Monday through Friday at Capital Ice Arena. Optional open ice from 7:00–7:45 AM every program day. Skill-based groupings, not age-based.
S&C
Strength & Conditioning
Off-ice training tailored to each athlete’s load. Off-ice days are never scheduled back-to-back and never fall on a Friday — structural load management, not an afterthought.

Why NYEHA Is Different
-
No tryouts — enrollment by conversation
Fit matters more than a single on-ice audition. We evaluate character, goals, and readiness for a full-time academy structure.
-
Ice or gym — never both in one day
Each focused session is either on ice or off ice. Two off-ice days built into every week, never back-to-back, never on Fridays. See the full training calendar
-
Built around club hockey — not against it
Athletes compete with AAA or club teams on evenings and weekends. The academy day ends at 2:30 PM, keeping evenings free.
-
Transportation included
Daily bus to and from Saratoga Central Catholic. Pickup at the rink from 3:00 PM with no strict deadline.
